My project is to help you to have a terrific time in Rio, enjoying the city as a local (I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro).

I'm a free spirit and an experienced traveller. I know that the best trip is when you have someone local to give you insider/cultueral tips, restaurant recommendations, fair prices for everything, as well as safe/unsafe places to go.

 

Let's not forget that I'm also a Brazilian Portuguese teacher! Would you like to learn some Portuguese during this awesome trip? Let's do it!

 

Another part of this trip is about visiting an NGO called Amparando.

 

They help children in extreme poverty next to the world's largest landfill, Jardim Gramacho outside Rio de Janeiro.

 

I'd like to visit them, make a donation and help with what I can while I'm there. You will understand their reality if you watch this beautiful documentary.

 

What am I trying to accomplish with all this?

Experience my first Olympics in my home town while helping someone that also wants to go but doesn't know where to start.

How are you going to pay me?
